People gathered inside a church for a religious service or event, with children and adults standing and sitting, some smiling and engaged.

You are so welcome

Two women smiling at a table set with breakfast items, wearing matching blue aprons with a red and white logo, in a church or community hall setting.
Three men are standing in a swimming pool, with one of them possibly performing a baptism or a similar ceremony. Several people are gathered on the pool deck, some taking photos with their phones and others sitting on a swing bench, watching the event.

If you’re new to St John’s, or just visiting, you are very welcome. We have a variety of services which you can find out more about below.

10:45am

Our contemporary service with worship songs and a Bible talk and a chance to receive prayer. We have children’s groups every week during term. In the holidays the services are all in services. Come for coffee before the service from 10:30 am. It’s designed for all - whether you are new to the Christian faith or looking for a church, this is a service where you will find friendship and encouragement in your faith.

9:15am

Our weekly 9:15 am service of Holy Communion is a more traditional service. We sing familiar hymns, have a Bible talk, intercessions and there’s time to build friendships after the service over coffee and biscuits.

Christian symbols including praying hands, a Bible with a cross, and a chalice with bread on a gray background.

8am

Holy Communion is a quiet reflective service using traditional language. There are no hymns, just a short talk. First and third Sundays of each month. There is also a similar service every Thursday at 11 am.
